Dr. Giuseppe Ferretti is a public official at Campania Regional Parliament since ten years.

He is ICT Manager, e-Gov Projects Coordinator and Open Data Supervisor, co-author of various scientific papers on e-government, published worldwide.

Born in Naples at the end of Italian baby boomers‘ age, after scientific studies he graduated in Computer Science at University of Salerno in 1993. 

Passionate about science fiction, technologies and their applications in daily life, he started his career as ICT professional trainer for thousands of young and adult students, all over south Italy. 

From late 90’s he was technical advisor and external IT professional  consultant in a large amount of Italian Small and Medium Businesses and Public Administrations (Cities, Unions of Municipalities, Territorial Pacts for employment, Social and Health Departments). 

In 2004 he passed a public examination as Web Project Manager Official at Campania Regional Government.

Since then, he has been engaged in a lot of ICT projects at the President’s Cabinet and other Assessorships such as Youth, Social, Urban planning, Human resources, Information Systems. 

In 2008, he was nominated nformation Systems Technical Director at Campania Regional Council, where today he is also Responsible of Performance in all the contracts for Digital Transformation.
