Gianluca Colombo is a storage platforms solutions expert, currently in the role of Senior Manager for Western Europe, covering Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Benelux. Based in Milan, Gianluca supports large, and often complex, engagements for enterprise customers in the areas of storage, analytics, data integration and data management.  With experience gained across mid-size and international companies, public sector and commercial businesses, including channel development, Gianluca has deep and proven experience of meeting customers’ innovation and digital transformation goals utilising Dell Technologies’ extensive portfolio of cloud, storage and data solutions. With direct sales and channel sales expertise, Gianluca ­is a digital innovation evangelist, also serving as a topic leader on this subject at the Alumni Community of Bocconi University since 2016. Gianluca has been working in software and infrastructure since 1996, starting as a software developer before moving into systems and business management. He has been working for Dell Technologies since 2010, overseeing Dell’s successful acquisition of Compellent, an innovative storage company where he was the Italian Country Manger. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering, specialising in IT, from the University Polytechnic of Milan, and an Executive MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management of Milan. Gianluca is bilingual, fluent in Italian and English, strong in French, and proficient in Spanish.
